Dubai Celts officially launched the Dubai Duty Free Gulf Gaelic Games in Croke Park on February 8, 2012. In attendance in Croke Park was Uachtarán Chumann Lúthchleas Gael Criostóir Ó Cuana who wished the tournament organisers every success. Dubai Duty Free Vice President of Operations, Sean Staunton and Dubai Celts Chairman, Paddy Darcy represented the Tournament Sponsor and organising team.
